Back from a 3 day kayak trip to Hay Island on Lake of the Woods. Wind at our backs for the whole trip made for a fast paddle. Stayed at cabin (Louis). Great hike around Hay Island. Amazing variable forests from tall white pine to cedar. A lot of algea in the water - in places thick as pea soup. Lot s to see on the lake - great sunsets.
